11:11 Wellness partners with individuals and communities who are doing the work to uproot the racist, capitalist, and patriarchal ideals that are the unfortunate cornerstones of education. Within these partnerships, 11:11 co-creates the structures and systems needed to make space for collective care, while reworking the relationship to the helping profession of one's calling.

Hi, I’m Emily, founder of 11:11 Wellness. I am a community care advocate and co-conspirator in the revolution towards equity!

After nearly a decade of teaching experience in at-promise communities in the nation's capital, I saw firsthand the impacts of secondary trauma and compassion fatigue. Paired with my white identity, I was a good person doing harmful things to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) students, families, and co-workers.

After years of healing, learning, and connecting, I have created courses that are designed to facilitate community space for fellow white people.

It's time to reconnect with our feelings while owning our harm.

Specifically I look to support members of the helping professions remove the blindfold of the white supremacy culture to co-conspire with Black, Indigenous, and People of Color equity leaders. I am walking with you on an ongoing journey through anti-racism, self-love, and systems change.
